Rug F. A. Q.

How do I care for my rug?

Gentle vacuuming and spot-cleaning are key! Try to avoid letting large vacuums eat up the edges, corners, and fine protruding details of your rug, as they may strip out fibers.

Do not launder your rug in washing machines or driers. They will not survive.

If you find a pet mess or spill on your rug, try removing the bulk with a cloth or paper towels without grinding solids into the fibers before attempting to clean using a spot-cleaner like Tuff-Stuff. (My Namazu doormat has survived a number of hairballs this way.)

I'd like one of your older designs. How?

While I do tend to follow whims and trends, if there's enough of a demand for an old design to come back to the shop, I'm happy to comply! Send me an email or DM and let me know!

Do you ship to...?

Short answer: Probably! But there will be a few extra steps for countries outside of the US and Canada. Please use my contact form or send me a DM on Twitter to let me know what you're interested in purchasing! If there is not already an active listing present on Etsy, I will then create a listing just for you. I do this to ensure that the proper steps are taken to ensure the legality of sales taxes and other policies your country may have in place to protect you as a consumer. c:

Do you make bigger rugs?

I can! If you want a design I've made, but on a larger scale, please check my Commission Info page! Large rug commissions will be priced loosely at $75 USD per square foot depending on complexity, so please keep that in mind when asking for a rug quote.

How long does it take to complete a rug?

Most, if not all of my listings will say 3-5 weeks, however most rugs are often completed much more quickly than that! The 3-5 week timeline has added padding in case of illness or emergency in order to guarantee that you receive your rug within an expected timeframe in case it's intended for a gift or special occasion. :)
